How to Make Moti Choor Laddoo:-
Moti choor laddoo or Boondi laddoo is a sweet Indian fragility made from grilled gram flour flake (boondi’s) which is sweetened, mixed with dry fruits, pressed into balls and fried in ghee. Motichur Laddoo’s are generally used in traditional occasions like Mini Parties, weddings Parties,, engagements Parties,, birthday Parties, Marriage Parties, etc....
Ingredients:
- Half Kg sugar
- Half Kg besan (besan flour)
- One Tsp finely chopped pistachios
- One third cup milk (65 ml)
- One Tsp raisins (kishmish)
- Half Ltr water (500 ml)
- Three-Four drops of orange-yellow food colour
- One Tsp chopped cashewnuts
- Two Tsp green cardamom powder
- Ghee for frying
Preparation :-
Make a thick batter check a consistency by dropping batter to a bowl, add little besan flour and if it's taking more time, add a little water. Add 3 tsp of ghee, food color, milk and enough water to form a smooth batter (make sure that there are no lumps). If it's pouring easily. Sieve gram besan flour with baking powder so that it mixes well.Add 3 tsp of ghee, food color; milk and enough water to form a smooth batter (make sure that there are no lumps).Reduce the flame and hold a fine sieve over the kadhai and pour a ladle of batter on the sieve.Heat ghee on a medium flame in a kadai.Gently press the all the batter through the sieve and the hot ghee (this should look like tiny boondis). Fry boondi’s till golden brown, remove and keep a side. (Do not over fry or else boondi’s will be too crunchy).
Arrange sugar syrup by boiling the sugar in water till all the sugar gets dissolve and the syrup is thick (one/third consistency). Remove the crust from the sugar syrup. Immediately add the boondi’s addicted to sugar syrup. put in cardamom powder, raisins and chopped pistachios & cashew nuts and mix well. Keep for 10 mints.A little allow the fusion to cool. Grease your palms with ghee, shape the syrup dry boondis into round motichur ladoo by pressing gently but resolutely. Allow to cool to room temperature and serve.
